Hello there!

Your question asks what answer choice best describes the way the President has restricted authority when it comes to the War Powers Resolution.

Answer: A). Congress needed to be notified of troop deployments.

The reason why answer choice "A). A. Congress needed to be notified of troop deployments" would be the correct answer is because the War Powers Resolution/Act requires the president to do this. This is one of the things that make the president feel restricted in their powers, since they would have to notify Congress that they would want to deploy more troops into war. The President would have to consult with Congress before making any final decisions on sending troops into war. This would show that the President doesn't have as much power as you think, due to the fact that there's something called checks and balances, and the War Powers Resolution shows that the President doesn't have more power over the other branches of the government.

I hope this helps!

Best regards, MasterInvestor

How are temperance and womens rights related to one another
ratelena [41]

Both grew out of the Second Great Awakening as reform movements to improve the American society.

The revival of religion and an American spin on old faiths and new faiths being created led to a focus on reform. The new nation had fallen away from religion and women were especially empowered by the revival of religion. The temperance movement was an attempt to improve the morality of Americans. Drinking was seen as wasteful and destroyed American work ethic. The women's movement connected because so many women were concerned with reform movements. They began to realize that they would have more power if they were able to vote.

dimulka [17.4K]
Well as I'm sure you know we live in a society greatly impacted by technology and because so everything important usually ends up on the internet, the dissemination of news helps activists and the regular joe, educate themselves. But as in a political revolution starting I suppose dissemination would make them more educated in the debate, and allow them to spread there message.
