Bitsy Betsy is only 4 and half feet tall. How many inches is she?
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

54 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

first you're going to want to put four and a half feet into a decimal (4.5) and multiply it by how many inches are in 1 ft ( 12). after that you're going to want to count how many decimal paces there are (2) and move your decimal at the end of 5400 to 54.00. The extra 0s are not needed.

Help, very important hw!!!
kvv77 [185]

The stem-and-leaf plot for the distribution is given as follows:

 • 1| 9
 • 2| 2 2 3 5 7 7 8 8
 • 3| 0 1 1 2 3 3 4 5 5 5 7 8 9
 • 4| 0 0 1 3

b) From the plot, the correct options are given as follows:

 • A typical content is 32 calories per 100 ml.
 • The distribution is roughly symmetric.

What is a stem-and-leaf plot?

The stem-and-leaf plot lists all the measures in a data-set, with the first number as the key, for example:

4|5 = 45.

For this problem, the observations are given at the top in red, and using each first digit as the key, the stem and leaf plot is:

 • 1| 9
 • 2| 2 2 3 5 7 7 8 8
 • 3| 0 1 1 2 3 3 4 5 5 5 7 8 9
 • 4| 0 0 1 3

The mean of these observations is:

(19 + 2 x 22 + 23 + 25 + 2 x 27 + 2 x 28 + 30 + 2 x 31 + 32 + 2 x 33 + 34 + 3 x 35 + 37 + 38 + 39 + 2 x 40 + 41 + 43)/26 = 32(approximately)

The correct statements from the plot are as follows:

 • A typical content is 32 calories per 100 ml(due to the mean).
 • The distribution is roughly symmetric(13 values below the mean, 13 at or above).

A box is shaped like a rectangular prism. The length is 6.5 inches, the width is 1.25 inches, and the height is 7 inches. What is
Fantom [35]
To get you answer multiply the length and width twice. Then the length and height twice. Then the width and height twice. And add it all up.
7* 1.25= 8.75
7* 1.25= 8.75
7*6.5= 45.5
7*6.5= 45.5
6.5*1.25=8.125
6.5*1.25=8.125
