Answer:

<em>The larger angle formed at the intersection of the bike trail and 360th street is</em><em> 132°</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

From the diagram, street 350 and street 360 are parallel. The bike trail it the transversal to the parallel streets.

We know that, Alternate interior angles are a pair of angles on the inner side of each of those two lines but on opposite sides of the transversal. And when the two lines being crossed are parallel lines the alternate interior angles are equal.

So m\angle 2=48^{\circ}

Angle 2 and angle 3 are supplementary angles, so

m\angle 3=180^{\circ}-48^{\circ}=132^{\circ}

As 48^{\circ}, so the larger angle formed at the intersection of the bike trail and 360th street is 132°.

Which equations are equivalent? Select all that apply. 1 + x = 3 x – 4 = -2 1 + x = -2 x + 3 = 5 x – 5 = 3
Lapatulllka [165]
1+x=3
x=2

x-4=-2
x=2

1+x=-2
x=-3

x+3=5
x=2

x-5=3
x=8

So 1+x=3,x-4=-2,x+3=5 are equivalent

The price of a shirt is marked down from $12.50 to $10,00. What is the percent decrease of the shirt?
choli [55]

Answer: 20%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, The price of a shirt is marked down from $12.50 to $10.00.

Previous price = $12.50

New price = $10.00

Change in price = Previous price - New price

= $12.50 - $10.00

= $2.50

Now, the percent decrease of the shirt = \dfrac{\text{Change in price}}{\text{Prevoius price}}\times100

=\dfrac{2.50}{12.50}\times100\\\\=20\%

Hence, the percent decrease of the shirt = 20%.

Question 4 Multiple Choice Worth 1 points)<br> (01.02 MC)<br> Solve for :<br> 2 x -<br> (x - 2) = 4x
oee [108]

Answer:

\small \sf \frac{2}{3}   = x \\

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for x;

2x - ( x - 2 ) = 4x

distribute minus sign through parantheses

  • 2x - x + 2 = 4x

combine like terms

  • x + 2 = 4x

subtract x from both side

  • x - x + 2 = 4x - x
  • 2 = 3 x

Divide each side by 3

\small \sf \frac{2}{3}  =  \frac{3x}{3} \\

\small \sf \frac{2}{3}  = x\: \\
