Answer: 140°

Steps:

1) We know that, Sum of angles subtended at the centre and point of contact by tangents down from an external point is supplementary (180°).

=> /GFE + / DGE = 180°

=> 140° + /DGE = 180°

=> /DGE = 40°

3) Again Applying above Theorem,

=> /AGB + / ACB = 180°

=> 40° + /ACB = 180°

=> /ACB = 140° .

Hence, Angle ACB = 140°

A state park charges an entrance fee based on the number of people in a vehicle. A car containing 2 people is charged $14, a car
Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

Therefore $98 is be charged a bus containing 30 people.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

A state park charges an entrance fee based on the number of people in vehicle.

Let the entry fee for the vehicle be E and entry fee for each person be x.

Then

C= E+(P×x)

C= Total charge in $

E= entry fee for a vehicle

P=No. of person

x= Entry charge per person.

Given A car containing 2 people charged $14

C=$14, P=2

∴14= E+(2× x)

⇒E+2x=14.....(1)

Again A car containing 4 people charged $20

C=$20, P=4

∴20= E+(4× x)

⇒E+4x=20.....(2)

Subtract (1) from (2), we get

E+4x-(E+2x)= 20-14

⇒E+4x-E-2x=6

⇒2x=6

⇒x=3

Putting the value of x in equation (1)

E+(2×3)=14

⇒E=14-6

⇒E=8

Therefore E=$8 and x=$3

Next we check whether our assumption is correct or wrong. Putting the value of E and x for third case

Here P= 8

Therefore C= E+(P×x)

                    = 8+(8× 3)

                    =8+24

                   =$32

Therefore our assumption is correct.

Now C=? , P= 30

The charged for the 30 people is

C= $[8+(30×3)]

  =$[8+90]

 =$98

Therefore $98 is be charged a bus containing 30 people.

A comfort room which is 2m by 2m has to be tiled with 30 cm by 30 cm tiles. Is 50 pieces tiles enough to cover the comfort room.
Allisa [31]

Answer:

yes

number of tiles needed = (200 x 200) / (30 x 30) = 44.4

Step-by-step explanation:

number of tiles needed = Area of comfort room / area of tiles

Area of a square = length²

convert area of comfort room to cm

100 cm = 1 meter

2 x 100 = 200

number of tiles needed = (200 x 200) / (30 x 30) = 44.4

50 tiles are more than enough to tile the room

Pls help due in 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given expression:

27 \cdot \left(\left(3^3\right)^{-1}\right)

Following the <u>order of operations</u>, carry out the operations inside the parentheses first:

\implies 27 \cdot \left(\left(3 \cdot 3\cdot 3\right)^{-1}\right)

\implies 27 \cdot \left(27^{-1}\right)

\textsf{Apply exponent rule} \quad a^{-n}=\dfrac{1}{a^n}:

\implies 27 \cdot \left(\dfrac{1}{27^1}\right)

\implies 27 \cdot \left(\dfrac{1}{27}\right)

Convert 27 to a fraction:

\implies \dfrac{27}{1} \cdot \dfrac{1}{27}

Cross cancel the common factor:

\implies \dfrac{\diagup\!\!\!\!\!27}{1} \cdot \dfrac{1}{\diagup\!\!\!\!\!27}

\implies \dfrac{1}{1}

\implies 1
