Then the mean price will be:

M = ($300 + $250 + $190 +  $400 +  $225 +  $170 +  $220 +  $325)/8 = $260.

And we know that:

Then the maximum that you would pay is:

Max = $260 + $50 = $310.

And the minimum is:

Min = $260 - $50 = $210

Then the inequality that represents what you are willing to pay is:

$210 ≤ x ≤ $310
