Answer:

500 kilo calories extra is needed for the initial 6 months that can be met by eating healthy and protein rich food.

Explanation:

five hundred kcal for initial 6 months and four hundred kcal for the next 6 months is required for a breast feeding mother.

lack of protein can reduce casein in mother milk, that is vital for calcium in babies.

other nutrients such as vitamin (B12 , B6 , C , A) etc ate required by baby.

newly born babies in their initial stages have little of other nutrients so they rely on mother milk for it.

COMPARISON

Energy required during lactation 2500 kcal as compare to pregnancy which is 2450 kcal,

proteins are required in equal amount that is 71 g.

vitamin A required during pregnancy is 770 μg and during lactation is 1300 μg.

calcium, zinc, iron, vitamin B12 and other nutrients are required in approximately same quantity during pregnancy and during lactation.

scoundrel [369]

Answer:

British taxes greatly influenced the actions of the colonists and led to the American Revolution through its leading to riots, boycotts, and protests. The Boston Tea Party that led to other riots and protests, was an important example of a riot and protest against the Tea Act, an act that was passed upon the colonies that forced them to buy only British tea. British taxes also led to boycotts of imported British goods in response to the various acts that the British passed onto the colonies. These riots, boycotts, and protests, fueled much of the American Revolution and the British taxes that had led to these actions were one of the biggest causes of the American Revolution

As you study two closely related predatory insect species, the two- spot and the three- spot avenger beetles, you notice that ea
mario62 [17]

Answer:

Character displacement.

Explanation:

Character displacement is an evolutionary divergence that occurs to two similar type of species that live or inhabit an enviroment. As with all living organisms, natural selection favors those who can change, adapt, evolve in any way (could be a behavior, morphological or physiological change) to reduce their competitive pressure for resources, increasing their chance for survival. Another very interesting fact is that, even if character displacement occurs in many species living in the same enviroment, if said enviroment is changed (just like in the example) the displacement will be undone. As in the exercise, when in the enviroment both types of beetles seek prey without the other. But, in the laboratory, both are nocturnal. This is a trait of character displacement in which if the enviroment factor is changed, it might dissapear.
