Hannah moved from Albuquerque,New Mexico to Miami,Florida. How high is the elevation in her new city compared to her old city?

History
1 answer:
Dimas [21]3 years ago
8 0

Being situated at the north central portion of the New Mexico state, Albuquerque stands, at a height that goes from 4,900 feet (1,490 m) to 6,700 feet (1,950 m) above sea level. Miami on the other hand, stands from the sea level 0 feet (0 m) to 42 feet (0 m). Hannah went from a mildly elevated city to a sea level one, so she can expect an easily perceived variation in temperature (its gonna be hotter year round) and a really light variation in general air pressure. Variation in humidity goes without saying, since Albuquerque is located in a semiarid to arid state and Miami is located in a region of tropical monsoon climate.

What were the main causes of migration in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century
Nadusha1986 [10]

The second significant cause of the Great Migration was the desire of black Southerners to escape segregation, known euphemistically as Jim Crow. Rural African American Southerners believed that segregation - and racism and prejudice against blacks - was significantly less intense in the North.Jul 2, 2016
