Elie Wiesel (1928-1916) delivered a significant speech when accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, on December 10, 1986. Elie Wiesel was a Romanian writer and activist that survived the Holocaust. He wrote more than fifty books telling his experiences in the Nazi camps in Auschwitz. He always supported the Jews causes and helped to found the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C.
