For the average total cost curve of a firm without economies of scale, what happens to costs as output increases?

Answer:

a.Costs initially go down and then go up.

Explanation:

The average total cost curve of an enterprise consists of the sum of the fixed cost curve and the variable cost curve. Fixed costs are those that cannot be eliminated in the short term, such as the utility bill. Varied costs are those that can be reduced if the company decreases the quantity produced. For example, inputs and labor.

Thus, initially the total cost curve tends to decrease as production increases, as fixed costs are slowly diluted as the production process advances. However, at some point this cost curve tends to increase, because if there is no economy of scale, marginal production will be decreasing, ie, after a certain point of production, each additional production will be more expensive (will require more variable costs ) and this will lead to an inflection in the average cost curve, which will increase further.

Daughter cells from meiosis can have a mixture of paternal and maternal chromosomes due to
love history [14]

Answer:

Non-random alignment of chromosome pairs.

Explanation:

Meiosis is when the mother cell or the diploid cell replicates into four haploid cells and divides twice; leaving just two haploid cells that contains only half the number of chromosomes.

Through meiosis, we get the gametes which are the cells that we use to fecund and reproduce ourselves (ovules and sperm); each cell contains half the chromosome content. To allow the combination of genetic information by cross-linking the chromosomes there need to be 23 chromosomes from the father and 23 from the mother to form one individual with 46 chromosomes.

Leaving us with non-random alignment of chromosome pairs as if it was random that would mean that it wouldn’t matter how many chromosomes each parent provides, also, the cells have to be haploid in order to continue the process.

To support a major point effectively, the speaker should offer all of the following except A. sources without source qualifiers.
Vinil7 [7]

The correct answer is A. Sources without source qualifiers.

Explanation:

In a speech or text, it is important to support major points using credible sources. Besides this, when introducing these sources, it is essential to include source qualifiers that explain the relevance of the source and what makes this credible or the qualifications of this source. This cannot be omitted because the source qualifiers make the source credible and therefore, contribute to the support of your ideas. Thus, to support a point effectively what should not be done is include "sources without source qualifiers".
