Which is not an example of cultural diffusion in the United States?

History

AURORKA [14]3 years ago

Answer:

A. Eating a hotdog at a barbecue

Explanation:

The United States is a place where the cultural diffusion can be seen everywhere and with pretty much everyone. The reason for this is that people from every corner of the world live here, and all of them has brought their own culture, some of which has been adopted by the others. The sushi restaurants are a Japanese trait, but they are popular in US, the opera is an Italian drama type but it is visited in the US, and the Latin dance classes are very popular despite them being based on the Spanish and later Latino cultures. The hotdog though is not something that can be put into the cultural diffusion, with the reason being that the hotdog is an US invention.

Roosevelt's Good Neighbor Policy did not fare well.
True
False
TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The policy's main principle was that of non-intervention and non-interference in the domestic affairs of Latin America. It also reinforced the idea that the United States would be a "good neighbor" and engage in reciprocal exchanges with Latin American countries.

The policy's success was measured in part by the rapidity with which most Latin American states rallied to the Allies during World War II. After the war, however, U.S. anticommunist policies in Europe and Asia led to renewed distrust in the Americas and the gradual lapse of the Good Neighbor Policy.
