Answer:

Wanted to avoid another war.

Explanation:

Appeasement is a strategy based on the moral conviction of fear of war that leads to adaption of non retaliative and non-aggressive stance towards aggressors.

The most famous case of appeasement was the appeasement of Adolf Hitler by Prime Minister Chamberlain in the late 1930's. The appeasement was due to the trauma of the first world war as the countries witnesses death of vast number of young people, due to this Britain opposed another war due to any circumstances. That is why it allowed Hitler to expand German territory.

What would life be like without the 1st Amendment?
Talja [164]

Answer:

Our lives would be ENTIRELY different. "The First Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” This shows that different religions would be unacceptable and freedom of speech wouldnt really be there. Hope this helps :)
