Divide 18 by 12.5 and your answer is 1.44.

18 ounce → 12 1/2 teaspoons of sugar
12 1/2 → 12.5
18 ÷ 12.5 = 1.44
I'm quite sure this is the answer, but I may be wrong. Sorry if it is, but I am quite sure this is correct.
