Hi there.

Thanks for using Brainly.

First let us remove parentheses.

Therefore our problem:

4n + 8 + n - 1 = 2n + 14 + 5

After, we can then distrubute 4 through parentheses.

4n + 8 + n - 1 = 2(n+7)+5

Then, we can distribute 2 through the parentheses.

Therefore: 4n + 8 + n -1 = 2n + 14 + 5

After, to make this problem easier we can collect like terms.

5n + 8 - 1 = 2n + 14 + 5

Since they're collected we can subtract the numbers.

5n + 7 = 2n + 14 + 5

Then, we can add the remaining numbers.

5n + 7 = 2n + 19

We're in a situation where we have two varibles on different sides of the equation.

To fix this we can move 2n to the other side by changing it's sign.

5n - 2n + 7 = 19

Subtract 7 from both sides. (We need to get n by itself)

5n - 2n + 7 = 12

Then - we can subtract 5n - 2n to get 3n.

3n = 12

Divide 3 from both sides.

3/3 12/3

Therefore our answer is 4.

Hope this helps you out :D

4(n+2)+n-1=2(n+7)+5
Remove the parentheses

4n+8+n-1=2n+14+5
Calculate

5n-2n=19-7
Calculate

3n=12
Divide both sides

Your solution is:

n=4

You invest $2,500.00 in a stock plan, buying 125 shares. If each share increases in value by 10%, how much is each share worth?
9966 [12]
You work out the price of each share:
$2500 ÷ 125 = $20 each
10% of that is $2, which added on means the share is worth $22

Hope it helps:-)
