<u>The port of Boston was closed</u> <em><u>for weeks after the tea party</u></em>, <u>due to the bad smell that caused the large amount of tea poured into the port</u>.  

<u>This was followed by the Intolerable Laws of 1774</u>, <em><u>which is known as the Boston Harbor Law</u></em>.  

<u>The intolerable Acts outraged, and more unified the American settlers against the British government</u>.
