Organic food is produced without the use of genetically modified organisms, artificial pesticides or chemical fertilizers. If animals, they are not given hormones to speed up their growth.

Due to these, organic produce contain less chemicals such as pesticides or growth hormones that can impact your health negatively. Also they are fresher as they have not been treated with any preservatives.
