Answer:

c). every segment has infinitely many bisectors

Step-by-step explanation:

A bisector divides a line segment in two equal parts. A line can have an undefined length but any bisector passing through the segment in a plane divides the segment in to two equal parts. And it is also possible that there may be infinite bisectors that can pass through the the same bisector points at different angles to divide the line segment in a plane in equal parts of two.

Therefore, every segment in a plane has many bisectors.

For the question: "Which of the following is true about the bisector of a segment in a plane?"

The answer would be C) Every segment has infinitely many bisectors.

Unless we only had a line segment, then we should only have one bisector. But since a section of a plane is given, then there should be infinitely many ways to cut the plane into two equal segments.

A train is booked to do the run between two places 55 km apart,in 1 hr 20 min. if it travels for the first 30 km at 36km per hou
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

The train must travel at 50 km/hr to make it on time.

Step-by-step explanation:

distance to be covered = 55 km

time to cover this distance = 1 hr 20 min

1 hr 20 min = 1.33 hrs (20 min = 20/60 hrs = 0.33 hrs)

The train travels the first 30 km distance at a speed of 36 km/hr

and we know that time taken = distance/speed

therefore the time taken to run this 30 km will be

time = 30/36 = 0.83 hr

The train still has 55 - 30 = 25 km to cover,

and the time left is 1.33 - 0.83 = 0.5 hrs left

to make it on time, the train must travel at

speed = distance/time = 25/0.5 = 50 km/hr

Given the function f(x) x^2-2x/x^3 +9x^2-10x Find any holes, vertical asymptotes, and horizontal asymptotes there may be.
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

I assume you mean f(x)=\frac{x^2-2x}{x^3+9x^2-10x}:

Holes: Since f(x)=\frac{x^2-2x}{x^3+9x^2-10x} reduces to f(x)=\frac{x(x-2)}{x(x^2+9x-10)}, then there is a hole at x=0 as x exists in both the numerator and denominator (however, its limit as x approaches 0 is 1/5).

Vertical Asymptotes: If we further reduce f(x)=\frac{x(x-2)}{x(x^2+9x-10)} to f(x)=\frac{x-2}{(x+10)(x-1)}, then we see that there are vertical asymptotes at x=-10 and x=1

Horizontal Asymptotes: As the degree of the numerator is less than the degree of the numerator (2), then there is a horizontal asymptote at y=0

Please someone solve this problem
I really need answers
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

x = 50°

y = 50°

z = 80°

Step-by-step explanation:

working out x:

angles on a straight line add up to 180°

x + 130° = 180°

subtract 130 on both sides

x = 180° - 130°

x = 50°

working out y:

two vertical lines means that both sides are equal, so both angles are also equal (it's an isosceles triangle). This means that y is the same angle as x = 50°

y = 50°

working out z:

the sum of a triangle add up to 180°

add up the angles of x and y and equate to 180°

50 + 50 + z = 180

100 + z = 180

subtract 100 on both sides

z = 180 - 100

z = 80°
