Answer:

#4, #1, #3, #2

Step-by-step explanation:

We will calculate the total amount for each of the credit card and then arrange them in descending order according to their interest after 36 months (3 years)

Interest on Credit card 1 = \frac{4380*17*3}{100}

                                        = $2233

Interest on credit card 2 = \frac{1365*19*3}{100}

                                        = $778

Interest on credit card 3 = \frac{2480*23*3}{100}

                                        = $1656

Interest on credit card 4 = \frac{5000*15*3}{100}

                                        = 2250

Hence the correct order to pay off all the credit card balances is

#4, #1, #3, #2

Please help answer the following question
Elena L [17]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The unmarked angle of the triangle is also 40o. The triangle is marked with two equal sides (isosceles).

<2 + 40 + 40 = 180            Combine the left

<2 + 80 = 180                    Subtract 80 from both sides

<2 = 180 - 80

<2 = 100 degrees.

That's not the answer. We have to solve for x

<2 = x + 106

100 = x + 106       Subtract 106 from both sides

100 - 106 = x

x = - 6

How would you find values of m for question 'b'?
Trava [24]
This is known as quadratic algebra.

To find it, you can use the quadratic formula but that might take a while.

We can factor it out and get

-3(mx² + mx - 1)

We can then set mx² + mx = 1

It would have no solutions

Edit: Above is wrong!  I made the mistake of factoring 3 when it cant be factored.

Here is the solution

mx²-3mx=-3

Divide both by -3

mx²+mx=1

And I really messed this up.  Its been a long time since quad.  Sorry, but I cant seem to get the answer.  Try and look up the quadratic formula and see if you can use that

The police uses a speed gun to monitor one part of the highway. During one hour, 6 out of 25 cars were traveling above the speed
Oksanka [162]

24% of the cars were travelling above the speed limit.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Total cars monitored = 25

Cars traveling above the speed limit = 6

Percent of cars traveling above speed limit = \frac{Cars\ travelling\ above\ speed\ limit}{Total\ cars\ monitored}*100

Percent of cars = \frac{6}{25}*100\\

Percent\ of\ cars=\frac{600}{25}\\Percent\ of\ cars=24\%

24% of the cars were travelling above the speed limit.
