Let’s estimate the students to 20 and the dollars to 25 so you would multiply 20 by 25 which equals 500 so $500 would be your answer

Answer:

QSR = 68º

Step-by-step explanation:

TSQ + QSR = TSR

15x + (10x - 2) = 173

Combine like terms

25x = 175

Divide both sides by 25

x = 7

QSR = 10x - 2

QSR = 10(7) - 2

QSR = 68º

A 10-foot ladder is leaning against a wall. The base of the ladder is 2 feet from the base of the building. How far up the build
Svetlanka [38]
We can see on this graph that the triangle has legs of x and 6 with a hypotenuse of 10 and we can use Pythagoreans theorem to find the unknown side.
Pythagoreans theorem: a^2+b^2=c^2, where a and b are the legs of the triangle and c, is the hypotenuse

x^2+6^2=10^2 Plugin a=x, b=6, and c=10. Now let us solve for x

x^2+36=100 Square each individual term

x^2+=100+36 Subtract 36 from both sides

x^2=64 Combine like terms

sqrt(2)=sqrt(64) Take the square root of both sides

x = 8 Simplify the square root

So our answer is x = 8
The ladder touches the 8 feet mark on the wall.

The position of a diving bell is −3/4 mile relative to sea level. The diving bell reached this position after dropping from sea
Natalija [7]
After 1 hour, the diving bell was -1/2 mile relative to sea level. Since the rate of decent is constant, we can use two ratios to represent the depth at 2 different times. To make things easier to write, I'll use decimals to represent time and depth. -.75 / 1.5 = x / 1 Now solve for x -0.5 = x So after 1 hour, the diving bell was -1/2 mile relative to sea level.

if there are 2040 seats in a section of a stadium, 20 seats in the first row, and 4 more seats in each row, how many rows are th
Lorico [155]

2040 = n/2(20+(n-1)4)

4080 = n(20+4n-4)

4080= 20n +4n^2 -4n

1020 = 4n + n^2

n^2 +4n -1020 =0

use common formula (can't write out so just look at answers. sorry)

which gives answers of n=-34 and n=30. since n can only be positive, n=30 so there are 30 rows. I liked that challenge
