I love that poem, what he means is nothing good can stay, it will fad or disappear, after a wile. hence why he said this
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
and it means, when fall comes the leafs will fall, "maybe a flower but not more that an hour".
Answer:
From reading "The Raven and the First Men: The Beginnings of the Haida," the reader can tell that the Haida people value family due to the actions of the baby toward the daughter.
Explanation:
In The Raven and the First Men: The beginnings of the Haida, Raven visits the chief's home where the baby is and steals the sun away from him. The daughter, however, is protective of the baby and treats him very well. This is important to the story, because it represents the kind, nurturing nature of the Haida people.
I hope this helps in any shape or form.
I just covered this in my psychology class! It demonstrates how our environment can’t effect our behaviors. Being locked down and treated like animals can cause a lot of mental damage to a normal person. Ultimately this experiment how being in a bad environment cause cause someone to have a mental break down and act out in way they normally wouldn’t.
