Companies especially ones with multinational operations and/or newly acquired businesses, typically have multiple cultures rather than a single culture.

When a business is multinational, they operate in different countries and in each country they operate in they are dealing with different cultures. Because of this, they have different cultures within their organization and operate according to where they are doing business. Successful companies will adapt to each culture so that the business runs like any other business would in their country.

Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer: The advice of sales representative is correct to some extent because one of the reason of slow customer service can be due a lot of customers and small number of sales representatives. But there can be other problem like sales representatives are not trained well to deal with a large number of customers lack of expertise is one the reason plus their motivation can be a reason meaning that they are not paid enough. I don't think so that her advice should be taken because the cause of this is not clear and more valid cause is training of employees and their motivation. Firstly we should know the reason for slow customer service for which we should ask customers by giving them a questionnaire.Second is the cause is lack of expertise so training should be given and if cause is motivation then there should be a pay rise or job rotation, enrichment and enlargement.

Two methods are used to predict how many customers will call in for help in the next four days. The first method predicts the nu
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

The method 1 will have a bigger forecast bias ( whose value is 5 ) than the method 2 ( whose value 0 ).

Explanation:

To know which method will have the bigger forecast bias , we will see the deviation of both methods from the actual forecast numbers and then by seeing which one is having a bigger deviation value , we can say which one is having bigger forecast bias.

FORECAST BIAS = ACTUAL NUMBER - FORECAST NUMBER

Actual           Forecast        Forecast        Forecast             Forecast

caller turn method 1 method 2 bias method 1 bias method 2

23                    23                  20                  0                           3

10                     5                    13                   5                           -3

15                     14                   14                   1                             1

19                     20                  20                 -1                            -1

TOTAL                                                          5                             0

from the above information we can say that the method 1 with forecast bias value of 5 is much bigger than the method 2 with forecast bias value of 0.

The JPY/AUD spot exchange rate is 82.42, the JPY interest rate is 0.15%, and the AUD interest rate is 4.95%. If the interest rat
defon

Answer:

The answer is B. -97.7.

Explanation:

As the question gives us the spot rate, the interest rates of two countries, We can apply the covered interest parity to calculate the 90-day forward exchange rate JPY/AUD from which 90-day forward points can be derived.

F = S x ( 1+ Rjpy) / ( 1+ Raud); in which Rjpy denoted as JPY interest rate ( 0.15% per annum) while Raud is AUD interest rate ( 4.95% per annum).

F = 82.42 x (1+ 0.15% x 90/360) / ( 1 + 4.95% x 90/360) = 81.443

=> The 90-day forward points is : 100 x ( F-S) = 100 x ( 81.443 - 82.42) = -97.7

andre [41]

Lisa is wondering if her company is earning the income they expected to earn at the beginning of this year. She looks at to see how the money looks, while remembering that this budget does not show cash outlays. This type of budget is called Expense Budget

What is Expense Budget?

  • The Expense Budget displays the revenue and capital expenditures of several ministries and departments and provides estimates for each under "Plan" and "Non-Plan."
  • It provides a thorough study of various expenditure kinds as well as a general explanation for why estimates vary. The Expense Budget also includes the Central Government's requests for grants.
  • Capital assets are crucial expenses for firms since they include cash outlays for production machinery and other equipment that generates revenue.
  • Due to the fact that production equipment is more expensive than standard office supplies or monthly expenses, financing is sometimes required to purchase capital assets.
  • The purchase of capital assets is typically included in expense budgets, and their effects on working capital and future cash flows are quantified. Businesses wouldn't be able to accomplish their operational goals without well managed capital investments.
