I cannot give you a complete answer because I don't know the value of m, but first you would do m x 2=___ you would have to find the value of x than multiply that by 2. Than you would do 16 x m=___ and find the answer to that. It would be the value of m times 16. Then you would subtract the product of m x 2 and the product of 16 x m. Once you get that number you would add 60 to that. Hope this helps!

Can someone help me solve this really quick please?
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

You have read at least 4 books.

Step-by-step explanation:

to solve this equation, first spilt the equation:

     17x ≥ 68:

17x = 68 and 17 x > 68

since we want to find the least amount of books, we solve the fist equation.

17x= 68

x = 68 / 17

x = 4

You have read at least 4 books.

Expand each expression A ( x+1)^2 B(x-3)^2. C ( x+4)^2 D (x-1/2)^2
Elis [28]

The expanded expressions are shown below:

  1. (x + 1)² = x² + 2 · x + 1
  2. (x - 3)² = x² - 6 · x + 9
  3. (x + 4)² = x² + 8 · x + 16
  4. (x - 1/2)² = x² - x + 1/4
  5. 3 · (x - 5)² = 3 · (x² - 10 · x + 25) = 3 · x² - 30 · x + 75
  6. (1/2) · (x - 2)² = (1/2) · (x² - 4 · x + 4) = (1/2) · x² - 2 · x + 2

How to expand perfect square trinomials

Perfect square trinomials are polynomials of grade 2 with the form (a + b)² = a² + 2 · a · b + b². In this case, we have to expand six perfect square trinomials:

a) (x + 1)² = x² + 2 · x + 1

b) (x - 3)² = x² - 6 · x + 9

c) (x + 4)² = x² + 8 · x + 16

d) (x - 1/2)² = x² - x + 1/4

e) 3 · (x - 5)² = 3 · (x² - 10 · x + 25) = 3 · x² - 30 · x + 75

f) (1/2) · (x - 2)² = (1/2) · (x² - 4 · x + 4) = (1/2) · x² - 2 · x + 2
