Analyze the impact of the Haitian Revolution. What were its causes? How did it affect later revolutions? (1 paragraph, 5-7 sente
Rudik [331]

Impact : The Haitian Revolution had many international repercussions. It ended Napoleon's attempts to create a French empire in the Western Hemisphere and arguably caused France to decide to sell its North American holdings to the United States (the Louisiana Purchase)—thus enabling the expansion of slavery into that territory.

The social instability of Saint Domingue was the leading factor in the Haitian revolution, as it caused political unrest within the colony. ... In political terms, the French Revolution aided in giving rights to slaves, and therefore causing anger and hatred between these different social classes.
Affect later revolutions : The Haitian Revolution had many international repercussions. It ended Napoleon's attempts to create a French empire in the Western Hemisphere and arguably caused France to decide to sell its North American holdings to the United States (the Louisiana Purchase)—thus enabling the expansion of slavery into that territory.

why did George Washington call the congress under the articles of confederation "a shadow without a substance"
NISA [10]
George Washington called the Congress under the Articles of Confederation a "shadow without substance" because under the Articles of Confederation the Congress was given very limited powers. The Articles of Confederation gave most of the power to states and did not give much power to the national government. Therefore although it created national bodies like Congress they were just a shadow because they had very limited powers and not much of an ability to institute any real policies.

The 1920s were the times of economic boom in America: the industries were advancing in the production of consumer goods, and people all over the U.S. was excited to buy. The invention of credit and the impressive use of advertisement propaganda led to the start of the era of consumerism. This is why businesses and industries was pointed towards the buyers.
