Unstated assumption: <em>"Those people who argue that and embryo is essentially a human being </em><u><em>place more importance </em></u><em>on a mass of cells than they do on the health of people who are already alive and in need of help."</em>

<em>  </em>Explanation: Although it may seem as and argument expressing a logical relation when it says <u>that the people who are against embryo use cares more about the embryo  that for  the people who are in need of help ,</u>it is all based on presuppositions , on what the writer believes to be true based on environment around him. This unstated assumptions can lead the reader to believe a generalized term to be completely true, if we don't analyze carefully from where does the argument comes.

That Unstated Assumption is transmitting a generalized message, when we see the statement:

Those people who argues X ---------> Think like this

It is meaning that ALL of the people who have the same argument thinks the same way, which is not true, because each one of them has it's own reasons to believe in something, although SOME people might think like the author stated.

How has the immigration system in America had an impact on immigrant families?
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

These migrants do not always move with their entire family. More often, they leave the rest of their family behind: their spouse, children, and parents. ... In particular, the physical absence of the migrant may have multiple adverse effects on family members' education, health, labor supply response, and social status. The available evidence suggests that immigration leads to more innovation, a better educated workforce, greater occupational specialization, better matching of skills with jobs, and higher overall economic productivity. Immigration also has a net positive effect on combined federal, state, and local budgets.

torisob [31]

Answer:

Music was everywhere in New York City. Pedro loved to sing and dance to the city's rhythms. He wished to play a musical instrument some day. One day, Pedro learned that a venue was holding student concerts and that children would be able to learn about instruments and then perform. His father registered him and Pedro began to practice on the recorder. It was challenging at first and he gave up. Pedro explained to his father that he would not be participating in the concert afterall. "I know how excited you were," he said to Pedro. "I would hate for you to give up. You need to keep on trying." Pedro agreed to continue practicing and after weeks he noticed that it was getting easier. Pedro proudly took his place in the concert and listened to his recorder create a beautiful melody alongside the rest of the students'.
