The correct answer is C) the character’s thought.

If a painting is being recreated in a text, what would be most likely different or added in the new medium is the character’s thought.

When you observe a painting, you can get many different interpretations of what is there. People can get as many ideas as what they have in mind, or if they know something about the author or the technique. But when it is recreated in a text, you can elaborate on the character’s thought, explain some characteristics, or describe the important aspects or the fine points.

"As a new jar I am empty and open" is an example of a: (10 points) Select one: a. metaphor b. hyperbole c. simile d. paradox
suter [353]

I think it is a metaphor. Metaphor's are like similes but don use "like" or "as".

For example: I am a pig at dinner.

That is a metaphor because I'm saying that I'm a pig at dinner, but I don't literally mean it.

For a simile:

I am like a pig at dinner.

I say like because I'm comparing myself with a pig. And I used like. So it makes it a simile.

I hope that helps! :)

So the answer is metaphor.
