When looking at different heritages, you will see that what is respectful in one may be insulting in another. for example: looking one in the eyes when talking, here we would find it rude if you did not give eye contact when someone is speaking to you... that is not the case in other countries

The correct answer for this question is answer B. All natural things have spirits. Animism began as far back as when Homo Erectus were roaming the earth. We aren't sure if they practiced animism explicitly, but they did form that mindset that spirits exist, thus beginning the process of symbolic thought.  But animism always refers to all natural objects, even furniture that has a little natural material in it, like cotton, has a soul.
