You just need to equate the expressions to find the values for a,b and c. First, let's settle that 2^5/4=8, and 8 is 2^3. Also, an important tool here is the indicie rule:
\frac{ a^{m} }{ a^{n} } = a^{m-n}
1st expression: 2^5/4=8
2nd expression: It tells us that 2^5/2^a=2^3 (I know that this equals to 8 as all the expressions are equal therefore is the same as our first expression). Using the indicie law, this means that a=2
3rd expression: 2^b must equal to 8 as well, so b=3
4th expression: c=8 as all of the other expressions we have figured out equal to 8
So a=2, b=3 and c=8

What is the slope of w=1.5t+10
levacccp [35]

Answer:

The slope is 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope is the coefficient before the variable. In this case our variable is t, so, that means the thing that is multiplying it (coefficient) is the slope. This means the slope is 1.5

A carton can hold 1'000 unit cubes that measure 1 inch by 1inch by 1 inch . How can describe the dimensions of the carton using
motikmotik

You can't tell the dimensions from that information.
All you can say is that the length multiplied by the width,
and then that product multiplied by the height, is 1,000 .
But you can't say what the length or the width or the height is.

A few possibilities:

Length  Width  Height
      1            1        1000
      2            1          500
      4            5            50
      5            8            25
    10          10           10
    10          20             5

There are many more possibilities.

density is the ratio of mass to volume density = mass/volume compare the density of different liquids with the same volume the l
bija089 [108]

Here, we are required to compare the density of different liquids with the same volume

Since density is the ratio of mass to volume, different liquids for example, kerosene and water if they have the same volume, will have different masses.

This is due to the difference in their densities.

Therefore, according to the statement in the question above;

While comparing the density of Liquids with the same volume, the liquid with the greatest density is heavier(more quantity of matter per unit volume) while the liquid with the least density is lighter( less quantity of matter per unit volume).

Find the sum of the geometric series.
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

40/3  option B

Step-by-step explanation:

20-10+5-5/2+ ...

We need to find the sum of infinite geometric series

S_n = \frac{a}{1-r}

a is the first term (20)

r is the common ratio

To find common ratio we divide second term by first term

r=\frac{-10}{20} = -\frac{1}{2}

now we plug in the values

S_n = \frac{20}{1-(-\frac{1}{2}}

S_n = \frac{20}{1+\frac{1}{2}}

S_n = \frac{20}{\frac{3}{2}}

S_n = 20 * \frac{2}{3}

sum = 40/3
