I would say false for two reasons. One, I did this lesson and there was no source saying anything about sumerians being curious about cultures in other lands. They traded not for culture curiosity only for items they needed that others had.
This statement is false. Sumerians did not trade because they were curious about other cultures, but because they needed to acquire more resources from neighbouring countries in order to survive.
