Help will mark brainliest
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

Step 1 : Plug values into the quadratic formula

x = -(-5) +/- √ (-5)^2 - (4)(2)(-3) / (2)(2)

Step 2 : Solve

x = 5 +/- √ 25 + 24 / 4

x = 5 +/- √ 49 / 4

x = 5 +/- 7 / 4

x1 = 5 - 7 / 4  AND x2 = 5 + 7 /4

x1 = -1/2 OR - 0.5

x2 = 3

Hope this helps!!
