Hi. Did you forget to say that this question is about the article "If Not Threats of War or Sanctions, Then What?"

Answer and Explanation:

To support that the USA has a “considerable sway in the world,” the author states that even today and even in the midst of adversity, the USA is able to extend its interests and have requests fulfilled everywhere in the world, like any other great power . This affects American diplomacy positively, because it shows that it is favorable for other countries to meet the specifications that the USA.

The author reinforces this argument, saying that this is due to the successful American economy, which makes most countries see friendship with the USA as something beneficial and in order not to lose that friendship they end up doing what American diplomacy proposes.

viktelen [127]

Answer:

B. To help the reader discover if he or she has a social media addiction.

The passage includes questions intended "to see if you could be in danger of letting social media control you," and "If after answering yes to several... you might have a social media addiction."

Explanation:

It is not A because this paragraph does not offer the solutions. The last sentence implies they will be discussed later in the text. It is not C as it intends to make the reader ask themself if social media is harming them instead of blaming them.
