Answer: Option 'A' is correct

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

A be the event that Ashley drives faster than the speed limit.

P(A)=0.34

B be the event that he gets a speeding ticket.

P(B)=0.22

Probability that he drives faster than the speed limit, given that he has gotten a speeding ticket i.e.

P(A|B)=1

but for A and B to be independent ,

P(A).P(B)= P(A and B)

0.34×0.22=0.0748

but,

P(A\mid B)=\dfrac{P(A\cap B)}{P(B)}\\\\1=\dfrac{P(A\cap B)}{0.22}\\\\0.22=P(A\cap B)

So, P(A∩B) does not satisfy the condition.

Hence, A and B are not independent events.

Option 'A' is correct as they are dependent events.

For stuff like this you have to simplify the equation and solve for x.

But since its multiple choice you can just plug in each answer until it makes the equation true.

So here are the equations with n substituted in:

8(8+1)+3=45

7(7+1)+3=45

6(6+1)+3=45

5(5+1)+3=45

Now simplify:

8(8+1)+3=45   becomes  72+3 = 45

6(6+1)+3=45   becomes 42+3=45

5(5+1)+3=45   becomes 30+3=45

Its easiest to start with the highest option given and then go down. Because 8 is already way to high you could skip doing the math for 7 and go straight to 5 and 6.

42+3=45 becomes 45=45

30+3=45 becomes 33=45

So 6 makes this statement true.

After awhile its easy to gauge what numbers will come out to be, so you don't have to do the math for each answer.

Can someone find F(12).<br> i really have no idea...<br> Please and thank you?

Answer: 909.03

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the equation is an exponential function, it can be written as y=ab^x

100 &=a b^{6.5} \dots \mathrm{Equation \ 1} \\11 &= a b^{1} \\

\Rightarrow ab^1=11

\Rightarrow \frac{ab^1}{b}=\frac{11}{b};\quad \:b\ne \:0

\Rightarrow a=\frac{11}{b}

a = 11/b, substitute it in equation 1

100 &=a b^{6.5}

\Rightarrow 100=\left(\frac{11}{b}\right)b^{6.5}

\Rightarrow 100b=11b^\frac{11}{2}

\Rightarrow 11\sqrt{b^{11} } =100b

\Rightarrow \sqrt{b^{11} } =\frac{100}{11}}

\Rightarrow \sqrt{b^{11} } =\frac{100}{11}}

\Rightarrow {b^{11} } =\frac{10000}{121}}

\Rightarrow {b} =\frac{\sqrt[11]{10000 \cdot 11^9} }{11}

\Rightarrow {b} = 1.49379

a = 11/b

a = 11/(1.49379)

a = 7.36382

Equation: y = (7.36382)(1.49379)^x

Now plug in 12 for x:
\Rightarrow { \left(7.36382\right)\left(1.49379\right)^{12}

\Rightarrow 7.36382\cdot \:1.49379^{12}

\Rightarrow 7.36382\cdot \:123.44530\dots

\Rightarrow 909.03

Therefore, f(12) = 909.03 for the exponential function
