Equation that passes through 1,3 and -2,5

Mathematics
1 answer:
wariber [46]3 years ago
4 0
(1,3)(-2,5)
slope = (5 - 3) / (-2 - 1) = -2/3

y = mx + b
slope(m) = -2/3
use either of ur points (1,3)...x = 1 and y = 3
now we sub and find b, the y int
3 = -2/3(1) + b
3 = -2/3 + b
3 + 2/3 = b
9/3 + 2/3 = b
11/3 = b

so ur equation is : y = -2/3x + 11/3

Alex is installing wooden flooring in his room. The room is rectangular in shape with length of 12 feet and width of 10 feet.
Pepsi [2]
12 feet multiplied by 10 feet = 120 feet (This is the entire room size)
Then you take your $600 and divide it by your entire room size (120)
This will give you the amount per square foot.
Your answer will be $5.00 per square foot

PLEASE HELP! Since AB=1 and 1=BC, BC=AB by which property?
erastovalidia [21]

Substitution.

Here is an example.

Let x be equal to 3 and y equal to 3.

x=3, y=3

From this we can conclude that the values of both x and y are equal to three therefore x and y have the same value and are equal.

x\wedge y=3\Longrightarrow x=y

Here in your case we have:

AB=1, BC=1 \\AB\wedge BC=1\Longrightarrow AB=BC

Hope this helps.
