The lesson that the Bramble teaches the Fir-Tree is that there is nothing wrong with being a Bramble. He tells the Fir-Tree that there is good in not being a Fir-Tree. He teaches him that he is fine just the way he is.

My answer related to the story because the Fir-Tree was trying to give the Bramble reasons to not like himself and want to have grown up a Fir-Tree.

Lord Of The Flies Help? Which is a defining aspect of Roger's character? A. Roger takes advantage of the island environment to a
lana [24]
Roger is speculated the be the sadist of the group of young boys in Lord of the Flies. Especially under Jack's rule he was shown to have immoral impulses, such as throwing rocks at one of the littluns. From the answer choices, it would be A. Roger takes advantage of the island environment to act on his most immoral impulses. Before they were stranded, Roger had to suppress his impulse to hurt others, but with the isolation of the area and the absence of adults he feels free enough to release this barrier and finally continue with his base instincts and personality.

Answer:

Jason - subject

had - verb

a birthday party - direct object

at his favorite Mexican restaurant - prepositional phrase

Explanation:

The subject of a sentence is the topic, that is, what the sentence is about. The sentence we are analyzing here is talking about Jason, so "Jason" is the subject. The verb "had" is not a linking verb, but an action verb. Its meaning is completed by the direct object that follows. We can ask the verb a question: What did Jason have? A birthday party (direct object). Finally, a prepositional phrase consists of a preposition and complements. In this case, the prepositional phrase "at his favorite Mexican restaurant" provides information as to where the birthday party was thrown.
