QR = \frac{QP + MN}{2}\\\\27 = \frac{5x - 7 + 6x + 6}{2}\\\\27 = \frac{11x - 1}{2}\\\\Cross  multiply\\27 \times 2 = 11x - 1\\\\54 = 11x - 1\\\\Add  1  on both sides  \\54 + 1 = 11x -1 + 1\\55 = 11x\\\\Divide both side by 11\\\frac{55}{11} = \frac{11x}{11}\\\\x = 5

Option D is the answer
