And given a free choice, people will make good decisions on what they buy. These decisions ultimately reward businesses that provide the right products and services while dooming those that provide lousy services and products since these businesses compete against each. So under capitalism, it is individual choice that determines the winners and losers in the market, and on the whole, it's the winners (the good businesses) that stay around in the long term.
