Answer:

I answered this on your other one but what ever.

arrow= positive 15

bone= positive 721

clay bowl= 0 (zero is neutral which means it's neither positive or negative)

necklace= positive 462

basket= negative 1,200 (-1,200)

For the second part

It's like a graph. sea level is the 0. The word 'above' would mean a positive number. The word 'below' would be a negative number because it is less than 0 or in this case sea level.

Andrew solves 6x2=12x by using the quadratic formula. What values does he use for a, b, and c? a = (Put the number only in the b
zhenek [66]

Answer:

a=6, b=-12, and c=0

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard format for the quadratic formula is ax^2+bx+c (=0).

If we rearrange the numbers given to look like this formula, we will find the values of a, b, and c.

6x^2=12x We can move over the 12x to the other side.

6x^2-12x=0 There is no visible value of c, but since there is no term without a variable, c=0

6x^2-12x+0=0

So a=6, b=-12, and c=0

What is the sum of the first 51 terms of the sequence?

−282,−266,−250,−234,...
Pavel [41]

Answer:

The sum of the first 51 terms of the sequence is 6018

Step-by-step explanation:

AP: −282,−266,−250,−234,...

First term = a = -282

Common difference = d = a_2-a_1=a_3-a_2

Common difference = d = -266-(-282)=-250-(-266)=16

Formula of sum of first n terms =S_n=\frac{n}{2}(2a+(n-1)d)

Substitute n = 51

So,S_{51}=\frac{51}{2}(2(-282)+(51-1)(16))

S_{51}=6018

Hence the sum of the first 51 terms of the sequence is 6018
