Answer:

<em>"Too weak, for all her heart's endeavour, </em>

<em>To set its struggling passion free </em>

<em>       From pride, and vainer ties dissever, </em>

<em>       And give herself to me for ever."</em>

Explanation:

The poem "Porphyria’s Lover" is a poem by Robert Browning. It was first published in 1836 with the title "Porphyria." The poem is first of Browning's abnormal psychological analysis. The speaker in the poem, murdered his lover, whose name was Porphyria. The speaker lives in a cottage, and one night his lover Porphyria comes to his cottage, all damp and wet. She lighten up the cottage by putting up the fire in the fireplace. She expresses her love to him, and tells him how she had come to him overcoming all the societal strictures. The speaker realizes that though she love him and worship him, she would give in to the pressures of society.

<em>"Murmuring how she loved me — she </em>

<em>       Too weak, for all her heart's endeavour,"</em>

He realizes that this moment of the night would not remain, <em>"Nor could to-night's gay feast restrain," </em>so to preserve this moment, the speaker strangles his lover with her yellow strands and kill her.

<em>"That moment she was mine, mine, fair, </em>

<em>       Perfectly pure and good: I found </em>

<em>A thing to do, and all her hair </em>

<em>       In one long yellow string I wound </em>

<em>       Three times her little throat around, </em>

<em>And strangled her."</em>

Make a lexical ambiguity sentence with the word set and also show the real meaning of the sentence.
gulaghasi [49]

Lexical ambiguity is the presence of two or more possible meanings for a single word. It's also called semantic ambiguity or homonymy. It differs from syntactic ambiguity, which is the presence of two or more possible meanings within a sentence or sequence of words.

Write essay on impacts of science in students
Elis [28]

Answer:

Science and its advancement have been a blessing in disguise to the whole world. It has not only changed the way people think about life but also the way they live and this world works as a whole. Due to the advancement of science, the world has seen a lot of development on medicines and technological fields. Above all, it has changed the way students learn, and their believes too.

Learning is now learner centered, whereby, students find all the relevant information applicable to their field of study. Teachers no more have to provide notes and learning materials to the students, because better and reliable information are easily accessible on the internet due to the advancement in technology. This has increased the learning capacity of students and increased their potential to grab information and retain it. In most of the education systems, textbooks are replaced with games, so as to make learning fun for students. This has comparatively made students more attentive.

Nowadays, most of the students discard religious and mythological theories of human evolution and existence. They rather believe in scientific theories because it provides detailed and valid explanations of how life formed and the same process continues to this days. Therefore, students now don't have faith in age old stereotypes on race and caste and treat everyone the same way. They believe in the biological process of life formation and respect the other person's ideas.

All in all, science has brought about a huge revolution in the lives of students. The way students learn and act are all shaped by science and not by mythological theories anymore.

hope it helps you:)

Kaylis [27]

All the computers in Janet’s school computer lab have the latest version of windows installed, which is Window 8.

A computer is a digital electronic machine that can be programmed to automatically perform a sequence of arithmetic or logical operations (calculation). Modern computers can perform general sets of operations known as programs. These programs allow computers to perform a wide variety of tasks.

A computer system is a "complete" computer that includes the hardware, operating system (main software) and peripherals needed and used for "full" operation. The term can also refer to a group of computers that are connected and work together, such as a computer network or computer cluster.

Hence, the correct answer is Window 8.
