The United State (US) is the third largest country in the world by area which encompasses an area of 9.8 million square, divided in 48 contiguous states, two non-contiguous states of Hawaii and Alaska and the capital's federal district.
Along with this partition, the US Census Bureau divided the US into<em> four regions</em> in order to collect statistical data easier.
Such regions are: West, Midwest, South and Northeast.
West: It is divided into two major divisions; the Mountains and the Pacific.
Midwest: It is subdivided into two divisions; West North Central and East North Central.
South; It includes the divisions ; West South Central East South Central and South atlanctic.
Northwest: It is divided into two divisions; Middle Atlantic and new England.
The Oregon trail pointed the way for the United States to expand westward to achieve its “Manifest Destiny” and the goal of Manifest Destiny was territorial expansion of the United States.
The Patriots tricked the African Americans into helping them with the promise of being free. Unfortunately they only used them so they wouldn't have to put more of their own men out on the killing field. After the war the Revolutionary War was over and New England and Britian we're defeated they returned the slaves.
