In pinus species male cone matured earlier than female cone because it male cone producing more pollen grain.

Explanation:

Pinus species don't have flowers who has nectar and pollen. Pine trees can’t attract bees and butterflies for pollination. Wind play vital role for pollination in pinus species tree.

The male cones produce producing pollen grains, which drift to the female cones on other trees. After few years mature the non-fertilized female pine cone mature to become the woody cones

Is genetic engineering a good idea? I need details ok Here is Me Teacher feedback, Hi, Gabriel! I really enjoyed your work so fa
GREYUIT [131]
Cloning is a good idea because it replicates what we already have therefore genetically cloning something would lead to a better more functioning society.

Genetic engineering is a good idea as well because it creates a stronger DNA that is less likely to get diseases such as Diabetes and cancer. As well as it leads us to a more utopian society and could possibly eliminate the need for breeding.

How would controlling disease In commercial fisheries be both easier and more challenging?
djyliett [7]

Controlling disease in commercial fisheries

Explanation:

Disease outbreaks among fishes reared lead to economic loss to the fish farmers. Optimal conditions of the pond should be maintained to prevent disease spreading.

Control of disease is very challenging because fishes are cultivated in aquaponds at high density which increases direct contact among fishes making way for spread of the disease.

Natural predators will remove infected fish quickly but manual methods are time consuming and not effective.

Various steps which can be followed for prevention of diseases like good water quality, nutrition and sanitation facilities, stocking and storing of fish, recording each detail.

At the same time, disease control can easily be done by reducing the density of the stocks, application of vaccines and antibiotics and other drugs, mechanical administration of drugs, use of probiotics etc.

Why do you think it is important to take an average resting heart rate versus relying on one value alone? what are some factors
Marina CMI [18]
2) One value might be distorted; for example it is usual that a heard rate right after sitting down can be higher than the rest rate. Other factors that might affect this is the rate of breathing, exercise. We also have that some bleeding can affect this. Finally, the point that you use to measure the heart rate can also be important in making correct measurements.
1)Taking multiple heart rates leads to more reliable results because you can use the mean and not a single value that might be far off it. You avoid thus the effects of the factors above that happen often enough so that we would appear to be ill many times when we are perfectly healthy; In scientific terms, there is some variance in measurements and that is fine.
3) Even if their resting heart rates are the same, they can react differently to stress. One reason is having low iron in your blood; it is essential for transferring oxygen in your blood and thus it is esssential when one does gymnastics. A person with low iron will have a higher pulse to accomodate his cells' needs for oxygen. The same applies to persons with breathing problems or different fitness (even if the resting heart rate is the same). Also, there could be the case that genetically one has less mitochondria and this also affects oxygen and blood needs in exercise.
4) The average rate for adults is 60-100 beats per minute. While this is not abnormal, it is rather high. An examination might be advised to see what leads to such a high bpm rate. If this yields nothing, it could be that due to age and physics reasons this is normal.

For example, upper respiratory infection like cold or flu that are caused by the virus can cause a secondary infection called pneumonia that is caused by the bacteria.

The bronchial pneumonia is a kind of pneumonia that can cause inflamed lungs. This infection leads to fluid- filled alveoli of lungs. This can cause severe cough, breathing problem and fever. This infection can lead to death in children below the five years of age.
