A heterotroph is a living organism that gets its food by eating other organisms OR by eating products produced by other organisms. An autotroph can make its own food, usually using the energy from the sun. A honeybee uses the nectar from flowers to make honey which it can then eat.
The physical stimulus is the only part of the test that is measureable, and therefore, knowable. The stimulus is our anchor for our estimate of the listener's perception.
