Based on the process that Lemony Lemonade uses to make lemonade, the equivalent units for conversion costs is 1,600 units.

What equivalent units are for conversion costs?

This can be found as:

= Number of units that are WIP x Percentage of completion

Solving gives:

= 3,200 x 50%

During a presidential campaign, the incumbent argues that he should be reelected because nominal GDP grew by 12 percent during h
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

Grew by 2%

Explanation:

Given: nominal GDP =12% positive value cause it grew by 12% during these years.

              Population grew by 4%

GDP deflator = 6% positive value cause it also grew by 6%

Question says we must find real GDP per person for the 4 year term that the president has served for so we will use the formula to calculate GDP Deflator to actually solve for Real GDP as we know the formula is GDP Deflator= (nominal GDP per person%)/(Real GDP per person%)x100

So we already have the nominal GDP and the GDP deflator therefore we substitute to the above formula:

6% = (12%)/ (Real GDP per person percentage) x100, and now we solve for Real GDP per person%

Therefore we multiply both sides with Real GDP percentage and get:

Real GDP per person %( 6%) = 12% and then we divide both sides with 6%,

Therefore Real GDP is 2% so we also see that real GDP has actual grown by 2% because the GDP deflator grew instead of decreasing where nominal GDP is also positive so if we have a fraction where an answer is positive we know both fraction values must be positive pus if the GDP deflator increases both nominal and Real GDP increase and that’s the relationship they have.

(Cash management) As CFO of Portobello Scuba Diving Inc. you are asked to look into the possibility of adopting a lockbox syst
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

Check the answers below

Explanation:

  • The per instrument cost of the bank is $0.25. Assuming uniform cheque value, the 24 million remittances across 10000 cheque will mean per cheque value of 2400. If this amount can be invested at 8% p.a., then daily investment income will be approx = 2400 * 8% /365 = $ 0.526

  • Now for the company to jus about cover the cost of the cheque processing, the time should reduce by (assuming fractional time in days is possible) 0.25/0.526 = 0.48 days

  • Now if the interest that can be earned reduces to 4%, the average daily interest will also reduce to $0.263. At this level, the time required to cover the cost should reduce by 0.95 days

The difference is simply because the opportunity cost in terms of alternate usage of funds has decreased for the company.

A firm's attempts to shorten the length of time a process takes, may lead to disappointing outcomes because of ______.
liraira [26]

A firm's attempts to shorten the length of time a process takes may lead to disappointing outcomes because of time compression diseconomies.

What are time compression diseconomies?

  • According to time compression diseconomies, which are defined as inefficiencies that arise when work is done more quickly, the cost of building a competency will rise exponentially as the amount of time permitted to do so decreases.
  • Not every subsidiary deals with time compression diseconomies to the same extent.
  • The date of a later subsidiary formation may affect how strong TCD is. Early-established subsidiaries may have greater TCD than later entries due to two factors.
  • First, for late movers, vicarious learning may lower TCD. Second, TCD is made worse by the higher environmental uncertainty that early mover subsidiaries frequently experience.
  • TCD explains why the well-studied relationship between the level of multi-nationality and business success is negatively moderated by the rate of overseas expansion.
