If chocolate chip cookies cost 3.00 per cookie plus $2 for boxing them up a decorated box,what would the expression be?

3 * x + 2 is the expression. Or 3x + 2.

Knowing that each cookie is $3 without knowing the amount tells you you will have an x variable. So you have to use 3 * x as the $3 for each cookie and then you add 2 for the cost of the box.

Hope this helped!

A glass is 1 3 full. Then 40cm3 of orange juice is poured in. The glass is now 5 7 full. What is the total volume of the glass?
Effectus [21]

Answer:

V= 105cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

V=volume

(1/3)V+40=(5/7)V

(5/7)V-(1/3)V=40

(15/21)V-(7/21)V=40

(8/21)V=40

(21/8)(8/21)V=(21/8)(40

V=21*5

V=105 cm3

(1/3)(105)=35, 35+40=75, 75/105=15/21=5/7

National Income (NI) is the sum of the incomes that all individuals in an economy earn in the forms of wages,
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

\simeq 14.94  billion dollars

Step-by-step explanation:

During the period 1994 - 2004, the 'National Income' ,(NI) of Australia grew about 5.2% per year (measured in 2003 U. S, dollars).  In 1994 , the NI of Australia was $ 4 billion.

Now,

(2020 - 1994) = 26

Assuming this rate of growth continues, the NI of Australia in the year 2020 (in billion dollars) will be,

4 \times[\frac{(100 + 5.2)}{100}}]^{26}

=4 \times[\frac{105.2}{100}]^{26}

=\simeq 14.94  billion dollars (answer)

Use linear regression to find a
Inessa [10]

A function that fits the following points (0,5), (2,-13) is y = 9x + 5

<h3>Equation of a line</h3>

The equation of a line in slope-intercept form is expressed as;

y =mx +b

where;

m is the slope

b is the intercept

Given the following coordinates (0,5), (2,-13)

Slope = -13-5/2-0
Slope = -18/-2

Slope = 9

Since the y-intercept is b = 5, hence the equation of the line will be y = 9x + 5
