Answer:

Question #8

Slope = 4

Y-intercept = -11

Equation = y = 4x - 11

Question #9

Slope = -2.43

Y-intercept = -1.72

Equation = y = -2.43x - 1.72

Question #10

Slope = 3.67

Y-intercept = -8.01

Equation = y = 3.67x - 8.01

Step-by-step explanation:

For all of these questions, we will be using the following formula to find the slope:

Slope = (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

To find the y-intercept, we will then input one of the given points into the equation.

Question #8

(4, 5) and (11, 33)

Slope = (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

Slope = (33 - 5) ÷ (11 - 4)

Slope = 28 ÷ 7

Slope = 4

y = mx + b

(33) = (4)(11) + b

33 = 44 + b

b = -11

y-intercept = -11

Y = 4x - 11

Question #9

(-4, 8) and (3, -9)

Slope = (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

Slope = (-9 - 8) ÷ (3 - (-4))

Slope = -17 ÷ 7

Slope = - 2.43

y = mx + b

(8) = (-2.43)(-4) + b

8 = 9.72 + b

b = -1.72

y-intercept = -1.72

Y = -2.43x - 1.72

Question #10

(0, -8) and (3, 3)

Slope = (y₂ - y₁) ÷ (x₂ - x₁)

Slope = (3 - (-8)) ÷ (3 - 0)

Slope = 11 ÷ 3

Slope = 3.67

y = mx + b

(3) = (3.67)(3) + b

3 = 11.01 + b

b = -8.01

y-intercept = -8.01

Y = 3.67x - 8.01

~Hope this helps!~

I can't directly tell you the answer, but I can help you for how to do it.

So every single time you want to find the rate of change (slope) label 2 points with x1, y1, x2 and y2. We can use the point-slope form to sind the slope:

y1-y2/x1-x2

And we just need to plug in the point to get the Y intercept.

When the x is 0, the y value will be the y-intercept.

The slope intercept form is: y=Mx+B. M stands for slope and B stand for y-intercept. Just plug the slope and y-intercept in and get the answer.

A cylindrical grain bin has a radius of 7 feet and a height of 25 feet. How many cubic feet of grain can the bin hold
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

1225π

Step-by-step explanation:

The question concerns the volume of the cylinder.

The formula of the volume is:

V=\pi r^{2} h, where r is the radius and h is the height.

Plugging the given numbers into the formula, we find that:

V=\pi * 49 * 25=1225\pi

The result - 1225π shows that the cylinder can be filled fully with that given amount.
