The Minoan culture, located on the island of Crete, was the first urban civilization to develop in Europe.
This should be the correct answer because it didn't create the first written literature of the ancient world, and it didn't erect pyramids - those are in Egypt, not Crete. It also wouldn't be that important simply because of being isolated, so I wouldn't say this answer is correct either.
