Answer:

Antarctica

Explanation:

The Drake passage refers to the water route that connects the southern part of South America and Antarctica. This passage was created long back, about 41 million years back. Before the creation of this passage, the region of Antarctica experienced a warmer type of climate.

The circumpolar Antarctic ocean current traveled through this passage, running in a clockwise pattern around Antarctica and it separated the Sub Antarctic warm water from the colder Antarctic current. This circumpolar Antarctic current is also considered as the West wind drift and this current maintains the extensively large ice sheets that are present currently, experiencing a much lower temperature.

Thus, the Drake passage separated Antarctica from the southern part of  South America.

How did the entry of the United States into World War I influence the conflict?
madam [21]

Answer:

It helped Allies stop a German offensive and support a counteroffensive that led to Germany's defeat.

Explanation:

I'm not entirely sure of the answer, but through the process of elimination I've made my way here. I know it's not the first one, because although we had a poorly trained military, we were not short on supplies.

I know it's not the third one, because obviously the United States entering the war had an effect on it. Even though there was a German blockade we most likely could've gotten through it.

It's probably not four because saying that the United States entering the war immediately caused the capture of Berlin is a bit extreme- all though the United States entering the war caused it to end quickly, it was still around a year.
