Common difference is -2-5 = -7
first term is 5

a_50 = 5 -7(50-1) = -338

2) d = 3 - (-7) = 10
 a = -7

a_110 = -7 + 10(110 - 1) = 1083

d = -27 - (-22) = -5

second -7 - 5=  -12
third = -12 - 5 = -17

Find the midpoint of the segment that has endpoints at<br> (a+b, a-b) and (a, b).
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

((2a+b)/2 , a/2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint is the mean/average of both the x and y values.

Our x values are a+b and a

Our y values are a-b and b

The midpoint x value is (a+b + a ) /2 = (2a + b)/2

The midpoint y value is (a-b + b) /2 = (a)/2

The midpoint combines these two values to get ((2a+b)/2 , a/2) as our midpoint

A triangle has a sides (x) feet, (x+3) feet, and (x+5) feet. The perimeter is 99.5 feet What is the measure for the largest side
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

35.5 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

x + x + 3 + x + 5 = 99.5

3x + 8 = 99.5

3x = 91.5

x = 30.5

Largest side = (x+5)

30.5 + 5 = 35.5 feet
