Answer;

Churchill's famous speech convinced many Americans that the USSR was an enemy rather than an ally, which led to the creation of the Truman Doctrine.

Explanation;

It was Churchill who coined the term Iron Curtain in a 1946 speech he delivered in Missouri. It refers to the fact that Eastern Europe was more or less controlled by the Soviet Union.

Iron Curtain was the political, military, and ideological barrier erected by the Soviet Union after World War II to seal off itself and its dependent eastern and central European allies from open contact with the West and other non-communist areas.

Answer:

it is basically an opinion answer. there is no wrong answer per se but Lincoln's plan was more moderate. His biggest desire was to re-unite the country, not to punish them. they probably would have been more ok with what the Radical Republicans wanted which was to punish the South.

Answer:

The Treaty of Versailles was too harsh on the German people.

Explanation:

The treaty caused war guilt, colonial losses, and reparations. The economy of the German population suffered greatly, along with their territory and military.  It is stated that Germany lost about 10% of it's population. Germany had no say into what price they had to pay to have this treaty, which made many Germans believe that the treaty was too harsh. This treaty was what caused much of the hostility between Germany and the other countries which would lead into the second World War.

Hope this helps!
