The wingspans of a common species of housefly are normally distributed with a mean of 15 mm and a standard deviation of 0.5 mm S
Ahat [919]

Using the Central Limit Theorem, it is found that the shape of the sampling distribution of the sample mean wingspan is normal.

What is the Central Limit Theorem?

It states that the sampling distribution of sample means of size n, from a normally distributed population with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, is normally distributed with mean \mu and standard error s = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}.

Hence, applying the Central Limit Theorem in this problem, the shape of the sampling distribution of the sample mean wingspan is normal.

Why might a sociologist look at the amount of fresh fruit and vegetables available in a neighborhood?
siniylev [52]

Explanation:

A sociologist might look at the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables available in a neighborhood trying to understand social issues that affect health. If you can find and afford to live in a neighborhood where you can shop for fresh fruits and vegetables more often, near home, you may be more likely to consume those foods more regularly.

What is the area and perimeter of the whole house?
Leni [432]
I don’t have the numbers, but the formula for area is base times height. as long as the house is a square or rectangle which i’m assuming it is. the formula for perimeter is 2L + 2W if it’s a rectangle. for a square it is 4 times the sides of the square. hope that helps.
