Ave you ever wondered why one area of the world is a desert, another a grassland, and another a rainforest? Why are there different forests and deserts, and why are there different types of life in each area? The answer is climate.
Climate is the characteristic condition of the atmosphere near the earth's surface at a certain place on earth. It is the long-term weather of that area (at least 30 years). This includes the region's general pattern of weather conditions, seasons and weather extremes like hurricanes, droughts, or rainy periods. Two of the most important factors determining an area's climate are air temperature and precipitation.

dusya [7]

Answer:

Option B

Explanation:

Answer A is incorrect as the data is not analyzing how many fish each lake has, but rather the pelvic score of the fish. Answer C is incorrect as the graph shows that the fish in Frog Lake are complete, and that there are 0 fish that have reduced or absent pelvic scores, therefore the fish don't have varying pelvic structures. Answer D is incorrect because the data is not analyzing the size of the fish and again is only analyzing the pelvic score of the fish. This being said by process of elimination the answer would be option B, as the fish in Bear Paw Lack lack complete pelvic spines but rather have reduced or absent pelvic spines.

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

A: Cumulative recorder

Explanation:

B. F. Skinner was a psychologist, author, behaviorist and inventor of Operant conditioning chamber and Cumulative recorder. The purpose of cumulative recorder was to study the rate of operant conditioning. It is a process in which behavior of an organism is modified or an organism is conditioned to perform a specific behavior through giving punishment or reward.

For example: We teach a kid that he should not touch a hot stove because it will burn his hands, or we give him a box of candies to perform a specific task or behave in a certain way. Skinner used Cumulative recorder to find the effect of certain factors on behavior or response of an organism For example: the rate at which lever was pressed by a monkey to get bananas etc.

Hope it helps!
