Inferences about individuals based on the results of group data on the stability of intelligence test scores may be misleading b

ecause: reliability of group data may not be high enough for individual interpretation. scores for a single person can still vary widely. the group may not be representative of the population. the individual may not be part of the group.

Answer: scores for a single person can still vary widely

Explanation: When making inferences, it is very important to be cautious of factors which may influence and are hence strong determinants in our measurement. That is, when dealing with group data, usually the sample size usually consists of a set of different individuals each with different singular values, these individual values are analyzed and thus we arrive at an average. This average is usually representative of the albeit some little variation. However, thses slight variation should be considered when making inference about a certain or specific individual purely based on the outcome of the data obtained from a group analysis as the score, attribute or value of a single person could still deviate highly from that obtained from the group measurement.

Why In the early 1970s, the Chinese government decided to improve relations with the U.S.?
dybincka [34]
The U.S was no longer directly involved in conflicts against communist forces in South-East Asia. In addition to this were border disputes between the Chinese and Soviet Union. The bigger threat to China now appeared to be the Soviet Union, not the USA. At that time, the cold war was entering a period of detente in which relationships between the US and Communist powers changed. China stood to benefit from improving relations. China needed export markets for her industrial goods and improved relations with the US would enable this. Therefore, They agreed to cooperate to build a good relationship so that they could export products into the U.S.

Why do many scholars believe the epics attributed to Homer are based on oral legends?
garik1379 [7]
Homer's epics exhibit a number of characteristics which betray that they could have been based on oral legends. The structure and vocabulary of Iliad and Odyssey show many examples of phases typical of Greek Oral tradition. Additional argument for this is also that oral stories were a major part of Greet culture at the time, and it is very likely that Homer was influenced by them.
