Answer:

The United States of America was established to be an individualistic society where each person is provided with equal opportunities and responsibility for their success.

Explanation:

Individualism is the belief that each person the right to do what he or she believes in. It stresses that individuals have moral significance and they should follow their own values. American Founders critically examined this notion, when creating the Declaration and the Constitution, as they set out to acknowledge and protect every individual's right to life. Most Americans are largely insensitive to the classifications of social status. These values stressed on equal opportunities rather than societal expectations. That means that every individual has an equal opportunity to attain his or her prosperity.

What were the political achievements and failures of the grant administration?
Katen [24]

As president, Grant commanded the government the same way he led the army. Bringing part of his army staff into the White House, he allowed Radical Reconstruction to continue its course in the South, sometimes supporting it with military force.

Grant was not a president of the best. Associated with speculators. He unveiled his plan to monopolize the gold market, but it was too late to prevent the business chaos.

During his campaign for reelection in 1872, Grant was attacked by liberal republican reformers. He called them "narrow-minded men," with eyes so narrowly close that "they can look through the same street hole without blinking." The general's friends in the Republican Party came to be proudly known as "the Old Guard."

Ulysses S. Grant have suffered many scandals, leading to continual staff changes. In many of their commitments were low and accusations of corruption were widespread.

Likurg_2 [28]
There were many reasons as to why the First Crusade was successful. It is debatable as to whether strong leadership was the main one – other factors should also be considered, such as the level of disunity in the Muslim world at the time, as well as the aid the Western forces were given by their Byzantine allies.

This photograph was taken in the Dust Bowl during the 1930s.
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

The loss of farms during the Great Depression.

Explanation:

This phenomenom known as the "Dust Bowl" was one of the worst ecologic disasters of the 20th Century. During 1930's (and up to 1932 and 1939) droughts affected the plains and meadows extending from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada. The Dust Bowl effect was produced by persistent drought conditions, favoured by years of soil manipulation that left it vulnerable to the effects of wind. Since its humidity levels were almost zero, soil was lifted up by the wind in the form of big sand and dust clouds. The Dust Bowl multiplied the effects of the Great Depression in the zone and caused the greatest displacement of population during a short period of time in United States' history. Three million inhabitants left their farms during 1930's, and more than half a million emigrated to other States, especially to the west.
